What we offer…..
SwanSyncSation is a member foundation program for the WI Inspire cooperative with a standing in the synchronized skating community in it’s own right. Our program, established in the 1990’s, has a tradition of excellence both in results and in skater development. Many Swan members have gone on to become Sectional and National medalists in the Collegiate, Junior and Senior divisions with appearances at the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships.
Joining the WI Inspire cooperative gives our long standing program advantages, that other programs don’t offer.

Who We are Are….
SwanSyncSation is an award-winning Synchronized Skating program, fielding teams from Aspire Snow Plow Sam through Open Juvenile. Our qualifying teams, intermediate and Novice, have medaled at the sectional level and competed all over the country at the National Synchronized Skating Championships. We are a proud member of the Wisconsin Inspire Co-Op, which brings together skaters and coaches in Southern Wisconsin who share a passion for synchronized skating. Members of the Wisconsin Inspire Cooperative learn more about the world of synchronized skating while sharing their knowledge of the sport. In addition, members have access to training clinics and camps to build their skating skills.
Our foundation teams are the roots
to the Wisconsin Inspire Co-Op.
What is synchronized skating?
Synchronized skating is the fastest-growing discipline within the United States Figure Skating Association, topping singles, pairs, and ice dance and offers athletes the chance to compete with a team and learn the value of teamwork and camaraderie. Formed in 1956 by Dr. Richard Porter, the sport was known as “precision skating” for the intricate moves skaters perform on the ice together. U.S. Figure Skating held the first U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships in 1984 and the first World Synchronized Skating Championships in 2000. Today, there are about 600 registered synchronized teams in the United States.
Teams of eight to 20 skaters perform challenging formations and step sequences together, and competitions use the same judging system as singles, pairs and ice dance. As with other disciplines, all teams perform a free skate with required elements, and junior- and senior-level teams also perform a short program.
