  • Bentley Garcia

DesMy name is Bentley Garcia, and I'm thrilled to be stepping into my first year as a figure skating coach at the age of 23. While I've been skating since I was 2, this new role has opened up a whole new world of excitement and challenges for me. It's incredible to be able to share my passion for the sport with budding skaters and guide them on their own journeys. Even though I'm just starting out as a coach, I bring with me years of experience and a deep love for figure skating. From my early days on the ice to competing in synchronized skating teams, every moment has shaped me into the skater and now coach that I am today. Coaching the Ice Explorers is an absolute joy. It's fulfilling to see the progress and growth of each skater, and I'm committed to nurturing their talents and fostering a supportive environment for them to thrive in. Beyond teaching technique, I aim to instill in them a true appreciation for the artistry and freedom that figure skating offers. Outside of the rink, I find joy and inspiration in nature. Whether it's hiking through scenic trails or simply spending quality time with my family and beloved pup Bundy, these moments recharge my spirit and fuel my passion for skating and coaching. For me, figure skating isn't just a sport—it's a form of self-expression and liberation. Through coaching, I hope to inspire others to find their own voice on the ice and embrace the beauty of self-expression. I'm excited to embark on this new chapter of my journey, both as a skater and a coach.
